Wide Open Newspapers × AMORE

A limited-edition newspaper for AMORE · built around what comes next — a show, a release, a run of dates · never reprinted · never discounted
01 — The idea, simply

Two types of products

Nothing here is fixed to a date yet — the calculators below are a playground. We've modelled a Madrid room in the Sala El Sol range (~400) as the illustration; when a show, release or run is on the calendar, we swap in the real numbers and everything recalculates.

Product A — Open edition

One design for the whole moment — a release, a run of dates — sold at the shows and online, closed forever when it ends. Simpler, batch-printed to demand, so it earns a lower price point.

Product B — Limited edition, per night

A unique newspaper for a single night — the city, the date, the setlist, the writing. Run sized to the room; when the night sells out, that edition is gone forever. Scarcity is real and dated, so it carries a higher price point than a poster.

They combine well: the per-night edition at the show, the open edition online only — the collector object and the accessible one, without either undercutting the other.

02 — Why Wide Open

We handle everything end to end

End-to-end. Event production with H&M and Highsnobiety. Production for Nike. TikTok marketing for Noah Kahan. Creative direction with over 20 artists across genres. We stock our own newspapers through our own global distribution — Magculture, Yvon Lambert, Skylight, Quimby's.

Design, print, logistics, promo, distribution — one team, one pipeline. Full-size newsprint where every spread opens into a wall poster, with real writing on the backs. Your team approves at concept, layout, and final. We run the rest.

03 — The two financial structures

Revenue splits

Pick the structure first — the products below work under either.

Structure 1 — We finance it

Wide Open pays for everything — design, print, shipping. Costs recoup off the top, then the net splits 60/40 in the artist's favor. You write no checks and carry zero risk.

Structure 2 — You finance it

You cover production at cost plus our design & production fee, and keep everything else. More money, small upfront — the right call if you're confident in the run.

Fee$350 flat per edition designed, plus production from ~$3–4/unit at small runs (the calculators price the exact run)

These are base prices — scope-specific and negotiable as a bundle.

04 — Product A · Budget playground

05 — Product B · Budget playground

The room, at your settings

The room is illustrative — a Madrid venue in the Sala El Sol range. No date is modelled yet; when one is real we swap in the actual venue and capacity and every number recalculates. Printed in Europe; Spain = EU, no customs.

06 — Side by side, at your current settings

A vs B

Product A (open edition) — net to the artist
Product B (limited, one night) — net to the artist
A + B combined — the per-night edition at the show · open edition online only

Production & next steps

EditorialImagery from your archive under one-time license, commissioned photography, or your creative team. Essays, lyrics at poster scale, the Madrid story. Approval at concept, layout, and final — every page.
The templateOne architecture, one edition per moment: masthead, date, city, that night. Designing at release pace is our production system, not an experiment.
Logistics6–10 weeks concept-to-first-edition; print 5–7 working days per batch, shipped with the merch. Sold through your existing tables and POS — no staffing burden.
Next1 · Pick the moment — a show, the next release, a run of dates. 2 · Swap in the real venue — everything recalculates. 3 · Archive access + concept session. 4 · Design, approve, print, ship.
Turnaround

Printing and shipping take a week. The only real time variable is design.
